Today, Eveready East Africa Limited has announced a profit warning for the financial year ending Sept 30, 2010.

The financial results are expected to be lower than the profit for the same period in 2009.

Causes.

1. Increase in global prices

2. Increase in finance costs

3. Importation of illicit dry cell batteries by Mwau and pharmacist gang.
The signature of God runs in all things. Only fools fail to see it and believe in Him. However, others see it even where non exists - now you see where the false pastor comes in.

Tough industry for these guys. They should have used the IPO money to venture elsewhere, anywhere but batteries. Or used the IPO money to hire assassins to get rid of the illicit importers!!

The utimate goal of investing is to buy low sell high;if we re-write this core equation in psychology terms it becomes buy fear sell greed.
