Saw an advert by Stima SACCO on tv last night. The were offering their members 3% of the dividends payable if the members reinvest those dividends as deposits. Smart and impressive.

Even more impressive is the fact that after 1 month they have done their accounts, audited them and declared a dividend.

....And what was the dividend interest rate ????*****###

I was with Kenya Bankers SACCO. When I left the banking industry, they took forever to offset my loan against my money.. I thus believe I paid punitive interest, they should have offset it after a couple of months on realizing nothing was coming from a salary, not a couple of years.
My share certificate was sent to my former employer over 4 years after I left... and I can't trace it!

I've written a letter (on advice). Let's see how it goes.

In the meantime, I'm joining Muramati(Is it Unaitas?) and Mhasibu, hoping they still doing ok?

Stima SACCO.

@essyk; CongressWBN does not dictate to kingdom sacco.the sacco has many members who are not members of congress WBN.
Please check all organisations that have dealt with the sacco.

I know everything about Kingdom Sacco and WBN.
I also know how many people joined in hype as usual but left cz of doctrine.
That aside,
Kingdom sacco came into existence after WBN hit the city. Some place in Githurai with Pstr N.
WBN hq is in Trinidad and they are partners.
They run stuff through remote control
The people running the sacco owe allegiance to WBN.You cannot separate the two.
The most disturbing thing is that many founders of the sacco were behind the pyramid schemes esp Clip.
It's okay for those who want to join.
But I can't invest in a church sacco cz God knows how greedy people have become.

@essyk
Lumping together churches and making them look a greedy lot is harsh. Kindly let blame fall on the ones you are aware of and not all churches. The church (and mainly mainstream churches) have do not hit the headlines for all the bad reasons. You may even have gone to a church/mission school.

Don't be so harsh on churches. People are getting into get rich quick schemes, and end up paying for that.
