Its not everyday that the CEOs of IBM and Bharti drop in....

This will make headlines for days to come. The big picture is that Bharti CAN sustain its low tariff high volume model.

IBM have read the market developments properly and positioning themselves to help telcos move to the next level.

Some estimates put this deal at about Kshs 100 billion.

Virtual City's 1M USD grant win announced globally coupled with this raises the profile of Kenya as a global ICT hub.

Bharti's Africa operations will run off Nairobi.
