The road is unlikely to start at Kitengela junc. since beacons for it have bn placed further down at Lukenya. Also the beacons have names of LK1......LK41. LK for Lukenya.

The road doesnt reach Thika bt joins Garissa Rd at Ndula. It is approx. 65 Km long. Its what's making land prices at Kamulu to skyrocket.

I would av attached a google map with the beacon locations bt am currently far 4rm Nrb, probably nxt wk. @maina20 is right that it crosses mwalimu farm.
Conventional thinkers waste time building shelters when they are unnecessary and then have no shelters when they need them the most. Socionomists do the opposite.

THE GREATER EASTERN BYPASS starts at Lukenya crosses Kangundo Road towards Kilimambogo and stops at Garissa Road. Still in its initial stages since mapping and aerial photography is what is currently ongoing (as of May, 2011).

At what point does it cross Kangundo road? I did an exploratory tour on saturday on that road and a land agent was intimating that its 4 kilometeres from Kamulu on your way to Tala? Another agent told me it will pass near Iteere's farm.

Greater eastern bypass starts at Devki steel plant in athi river, through Kinanie, crosses Kangondo rd @ Joska and joins the eastern bypass (under construction) just before Ruiru. From the lands map it reads "proposed greater eastern bypass" thus some details might change slightly.

announcement have not been made when to start the road though this depends on the government in place after 2012 .the objective of the road was to connect the industrial n agricultural thika n environs with Mombasa road.

I bought some plots in Joska a few yrs ago and when I went there last month I noticed that there is a road that has been graded. My guide told me this road leads to Lukenya then Daystar and all the way to Mombasa Road. Is this the one ?

i visited last month

the by pass land is already allocated next to mwalimu farm and is very visible...

btw mwalimu farm is 7 klicks from kangundo road and even that far in the by pass is recognised and used for grazing by cows, gazelles or zebras...

yes you read right.. in both site visits to mwalimu farm.. i encountered wild animals..
