Was bored one day and the vid lib told me to check that movie out.

Eposide 1 - A drag. Episode 2,3,...13 Walalala!!!

This movie should have been rated XXX but really its not porn just explicit. The blood letting is gory - esp when you see a guy hold his intestines which have been sliced out.

The plot - too deadly - I loved and hated Batiatus, his greed and treachery - legenday.

The Characters come to life - I had to google who acted Theokoles and Docre.

For those who can stand blood - this is a MUST WATCH.

seems there's alot of these goin round offlate..watched season one of L Word a couple of weeks back...was quite surprised on its age rating

Anyway the movie was an exxageration of everything but still fun to watch.

@mozenrat, thanks for putting things in perspective...I believe most of the movie/series directors and producers really want authenticity in their works, even if there are exaggerations for audience appeal...and you'll find most depictions of ancient Rome containing the same themes of abandon sex and violence

@Djinn, like @Pablo, I would want to watch Caligula...MediaKali have closed/are closing and they're the only guys who I know could get really old classic movies or series...thanks in advance
