After years of exploitation from Safcon,Kenyans finally have a service provider who understands and offers value for their money. After buying sim cards for 20K,then 2K,then down to 50bob from Safcon, there is a reason to smile. And while at it punish Safcon for years of exploitation.

Econet just announced that it shall be offering free sms 24/7 within its network, despite the fact that call rates are already as low as 50cents a minute....I cant remember the last time I bought anything at 50cents,must have been a kid.

Am so trashing my safcon simcard immediately we get an alternative to Mpesa, thats the only reason i still keep my green card.

Time to move

A likely impossibility is always preferable to an unconvincing posibility.
African parents don't know how to say sorry.. the closest you will get to a sorry is a 'have you eaten'

Haiwesmek........and give it to Kenyans. They will still be in Safcom long after other providers have gone to paying customers for subscribing. You don't have to go far.Econet is still using jirani's facilities and i would say where i am,it is as alien as dinousar milk.....Looks more like a desperate measure and our 'peculiar calling habits'.

Who is panicking?Kicks of a dying horse....burn your bridges at your own peril..When you see a network/business resorting to such cheap desperate moves...someone is in dire straits. Just wait and see..
