Hi good people!

Has any of you bought stuff on Amazon? And how do you get it to Kenya?
I have been thinking of buying a laptop from the site and their shipping rules seem a little complicated.Which is the best courier service to use also considering costs?

Wairegi & Kizee....thanks alot!I love Wazua.
The only problem I have is that usanotebooks.com has old machines...would like something newer & more powerful...either using amazon or ebay since they also have all sorts of discount coupons.

Not true. I am also an avid Amazon buyer and have bought other things besides books. Granted not all things can be shipped to Kenya; it depends on the retailer. Not all things on the Amazon store are sold by Amazon, other are by 3rd party retailers (who may or may not ship to Kenya)

Books are the easiest things to buy though because no duty is charged. For other things you will have to pay customs before you collect.

They (Amazon) will ship it to you usually using USPS. As a matter of fact just a few minutes ago I have received on my desk a book I ordered 10 days ago.

I have successfully used Ebay quite often, though for most of the stuff I've bought from China,I've had to pay a handling charge plus customs. Now with Amazon uk,I have seen such hot deals but each time I've got to the address part, I've always got the message that deliveries are not made to Kenya, regardless of the seller. So am glad that its actually possible with Amazon.com(which is what guys in this post must be talkin of). Will give it a try and post back

try alibaba.com or aliexpress.com. They sell from manufacturer direct. May be cheaper than used stuff off ebay.
