Hi Wazua Members

I'm new on Wazua and I recently started buying stocks on NSE. I must say this is the best finacial forum I have read in ages. I have even made some money... which is always great thing. My question, is it too late to jump on the Equity bus? Any other stocks that are looking good for short-term? Your advice will be greatly appreciated.

Treat it like the constitution; Jisomee, jiamulie, jinunulie.

Only you can decide whether it's worth buying at the current price and the future it holds. Remember what you're buying is future growth and earnings.

BBI will solve it

@nurse how extensive is your stocks knowledge/experience? If you have just started, i would suggest that you come up with objectives first. Do you want to grow your wealth, park your savings, get income, speculate, short term or longterm? Next you come up with an investment plan and strategy on your entry and exit. Do that first then you can ask for advice coz buying stocks hapharzadly can crush you. I am male by the way.
Life is short. Live passionately.

@Sparkly, I am learning the ropes. For longterm investment plans, I depend on the experts to manage my money. I'm kind of a beginner, I have no idea how to use charts as I'm mathemetically challenged! Right now I am looking for some shortterm stocks that I can put some spare change.

@nurse1 nice to see more of the fairer sex join the game...
But my advice to you is that if you're new to this don't try and play short term games otherwise you'll burn every cent of yours.... Even the pros rarely speculate so go long term...

@nurse1 its nice to have more of the fairer sex joining the game... But please don't dare go short term on anything since you have said your math is rusty...

I always advise those who are inexperienced to go long term because you can rarely go wrong

@nurse the speculation at this stage as a beginner can be suicidal. Select the stocks u wonna invest for a while or with a long term strategy. Visit at this blog(wazua) learn by what your hear the opinions they help anyway. But later do your homework the company/companies u chose to pick even if you dont buy its advisable just to know..enquire how to read the(balance sheet),the graph.Form a habit of reading business columns from local newspapers.
