Its an ugly sight but, to re-route the by-pass would mean the taxpayer buying land at 30m an acre in Kitsuru. The alternative would be damn expensive to the tax payer. Do not build a permanent house on grabbed landShame on you

Do not grab land! period.

Unfortunately, these guys may have actually gone the legal way and bought in believe that the land was clean. The grabbers made sure they make it look as clean and possible so that when you do a search, the search report is clean.... Upperhill is full of such pieces.... the institution i work for almost fell into one of those but thanks to our lawyers who have seen these cases.......

They could be innocent guys who fell in the hands of our corrupt officials..... its sad.

If the owner of the property had done all legal procedures necessary for conveyancing,he should go ahead and sue the government.

But if he bought the parcel knowing too well that it is public land, too bad

The guy could be innocent and I tell you the grabbers are tough. I almost fell a victim but thanks be to God, my surveyor saved me in the nick of time.

If I were the tractors driver, I wouldn't do such a job. How can you destroy such a house and hope to live in a good house?

The owner should institute legal proceeding against the govt if he has all the papers showing legal ownership.
