@maka - If it is ACMI then what's KQ's role?
Does this mean KQ has outsourced everything but the sales?

It will reach huko after the results... How many straight years of loss making...7?

What’s the mishap that occurred?

It won’t reach 4 as passengers numbers are likely to go up soon or later especially with the arrival of the B777 before December. It will boost cargo upload i.e. the oversized items.

B777 is being bought?

Being returned... KQ cant even afford bottled water smile

The Dreamliner in Dar is almost ready its a good thing there was a spare engine at Base. Most guys dont realise how bad that incident would have been... The plane had come from JFK the previous day...One of the engineers said if it had happened when crossing the Atlantic we would have been talking of a different story Sad

Juba will get an additional frequency Q400 on ACMI (Aircraft,Crew,Maintenance and Insurance) all leased out...

Ohh yes and there is a New HR Director... Evelyne Munyoki....

She joins the family fromm Co -op Bank if I am not wrong....

Increase in pax inevitable. If the crew shut down affected engine correctly as they did then aircraft fly on one engine for a long distance.

Only issue is where the crew shut down the good engine.

The bird is made very well to fly with one engine over the Atlantic. So they would have still flown and landed safely somewhere if the remaining engine was still running well.

That's how transport business is ...from matatus to airlines. Everyone makes money except the "owner" aka shareholder.

On a different platform, @Obiero is alive and well. He estimated a loss of 6.5bn for FY 2018.
But I did say I will not shoot down others choices so all the best!

They are paid a lot without any results to show.

Pilots should also go on strike to demand further changes.

I thought the the Ground services director from KLM left?

There is no will to revive KQ apart from filling the pockets of a few individuals.
There are good turnaround lessons that can be learnt globally and applied to KQ case
