Further losses cannot be good news. If you are suffering from Malaria, good news is to told that you are healed of Malaria, not that you have also caught Cholera.

On point. Let's bank on the new CEO. Anything to do with Ngunze and this Airline is not worth discussing. I cannot wait for the new CEO to take over officially.

@obiero gave guidance on 21.03.2017. @wazua I trade on exchange bar information. May 5th is today.. Up 9.32% on the promised date. More price jumps to come, shortly

This Thursday, the official rally begins with the first big announcement being full year results relayed by the great Ngunze.. Mid June the last big announcement by the great Ngunze sends us to KES 10. This is guaranteed. Thank me later

The new CEO to take over by June, 01. There is no way Ngunze will be making the announcement in mid June.

The full year results to be announced are still bad with a loss of more than 10billion. Please do not expect a rally.

No sooner had @arresteddev cursed the pride of Africa than the stock turned up its flight trajectory. Closing price KES 7.. Tomorrow it may rise 12% with trading limits off.. http://live.mystocks.co.ke/m/stock=KQ

I told you long ago that the loss is 10billion. Ngunze has been overseeing a massive rot in this Company. I am very relieved that he is exiting and a very strong manager taking over.

Whoever appointed Ngunze to that position made a very big mistake.

It will take sometime to fully put this Airline back on track. No competitive advantage at it's disposal anymore.

By the way with the reduction of the loss, there is no impact at all. KQ is even now in a worse state considering the fact that key assets that could have been used to generate income in the near future were offloaded, some at throw away prices.

The reduction in the loss was only occassioned by the cosmetic changes i.e. unsustainable cost cutting measures rather than addressing the underlying problems.

On the contrary, these results are good. Its not just the asset sale only, there has been efficient measures taken to curb spiralling expenditure. The corruption loopholes has been addressed. All these due to effect of Michael Joseph. What is needed now is some cash injection and the airline will be back into profitability immediately.

Indeed. I would not be surprised by a H1 profit. No one here was expecting a profit for the full year.. Maybe @spikes only

Even before MJ initiatives were ongoing and the successful guys have been awarded trips to some of the KQ destinations...Probably his full impact will be felt this year...

The devil lies in the turnover narrative. Otherwise, quite decent results. The market has already responded appropriately.. No panic
