Apparently some of the oil thats stolen from transformers is getting its way into backstreet cafes, used in making of chipos and kuku (u know, as they say, kukausha. (source-Citizen News) So if u are a KPLC shareholder, u can check into them joints and....., u know, enjoy a small piece of ur inv. Drool

But on a serious note, their mulika thief thing seems not to be working, they are apparently losing 60milli on a monthly basis...Soooo...is mulikaing all they can do? Cant they spike the oil or something....anything! Or is there a bio-chem grad, or any of those mix-stuff courses grad who can come up with a 60 milli idea and sell it to kplc? An opportunity right there!

Anyone who knows the health risks from consuming such oil?

This mulika mwizi thing has always puzzled me for starters why cant KPLC mulika their own mwizi-i mean can't they make sure that every transformer is well lit plus whoever told them that running advertising campaigns probably costing millions will deter any would be thieves.
The spiking thing is a good idea though but why don't set up the transformer with some device that detects physical movement(Gps maybe)Si they are probably the company with the most electrical and electronic engineers on its pay roll in kenya??
