This man is selfish and a hypocrite. okay, all MPs are but this particular one tries to portray himself as people oriented, God fearing and nice. But he just ends up looking like the biggest hypocrite ever. My hatred towards him grew when he decided to save his skin by taking the vice presidency instead of standing up against injustice. Do we really have a true leader in this country???

...yes, we have a true leader in the name of William Ruto. Does that make you feel better?

Portrays to be smart but comes out as confused.
Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm.

By the looks of things we all hate all our leaders, yet we keep voting them in for one reason or another.

10M registered voters out of a population of 40M (we think, coz census info never released). Do you think Kenyans care about their politics, or just prefer complaining?? (BTW, I didnt register...).

Here we go again...

I neither have hate nor love for the guy.

This view is very pedestrian.I hold the view that politically, Kalonzo took the best option. There was no way he was going to side with Raila, who months before had taken away his best chance ever of being President.

Again, if he had joined Raila, what would have changed? He knew what most politicians knew then:ODM was a thief crying that another thief had stolen from him!

He just had to fight it politically. What position could be having in raila's gvt?Assistant Minister for Gender?

IMHO Ruto is actually a guy who has a spine. he has stood steadfast for what he believes in.
I don't like the dude but i respect him for that.
Raila is a shape shifter, Executive PM and Proper Ugatuzi to the thing we have in the draft. he is principled on some matters e.g. the MAU but on most he just plays politics.

What has the son of Tseikuru done or not done again!!

On Katiba his position is clear, YES, but sorry that we have very unfairly rubbished certain constituencies whose concerns are genuine and valid.

Kibaki is in record promising the church that certain panel beating of sections in the draft considered sloppy were to be effected prior to referundum.
That effort was defeated by sly politicians who did everything to ensure that no consensus building talks would take place before the matter was brought to parliment for debate and possible amendment. Remember the Naivasha retreat debacle where Hotels were booked and paid for but political shenanigans saw the noble effort abort.

The VP says he is for Yes but acknowledges that those in No have real concerns and should not be ostracised.

In constitution making you can not afford to appear headstrong and keep showing those of alternative persuasion the middle finger.
That is not the way of aspiring statesmen.

For heaveans sake when Kenyans wipe the scales off their eyes, they will realise that it is undesirable for us to appear to be at war with the church.

While some politicians are at home calling the clergy WANAFIKI, Kalonzo would rather we dealt with them more honestly.
