Kenyan lawyer Professor Githu Muigai has been admitted to the International Criminal Court list of counsel, meaning he is eligible to represent suspects facing trial at The Hague. ..........

any qualified person can apply to practise at the ICC - at wewe Guka if you were qualified. nothing sinister in Githu applying and being accepted - i guess anaona mbali - he will soon be getting instructions from fellow Kenyans who might require his services there.

in fact more Kenyan and African lawyers should apply - most of the lawyers currently practising in the ICC are Europeans and Americans - and they cannot even pinpoint Rwanda, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Sudan on the map.
