I have a friend who has access to sunflower seeds, and may even get the actual oil in large quantities.

I have a few questions:
1. Does anyone know where he should start looking for a market?

2. Who are the major manufacturers/processors of cooking oil or products that require the oil such as soap?

@Dahatre,
Sunflower cooking oil does not require any processing.Crush the seeds,sieve,package and you are good to go.....Let your friend start cottage sort of processing.He can start by selling to friends and neighbors before moving to supermarkets who are good buyers of low cholesterol oils.......Best of luck
Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm.
