I'm new here and don't know if this is where to start this. I'm looking for a sacco to join and here's my background.

I work in a small telecoms firm with about 15 guys and hence don't have a sacco. I don't know if any of you guys can help me with info about which ones accept random people who just walk in, or better yet those that accept self employed guys.
ngatts attached the following image(s):

@ngatts I've heard of Mhasibu Sacco who accept all. And in these .com days I see they even have a site http://mhasibusacco.com/

If you talk to them, keep us posted.

Oooh, so that's what the site says... Heard of them before I saw the site, and person who mentioned them (like 6 years ago) did not fulfill those requirements and was a member.

Should be possible to get in? But then I can be mistaken.

@sparkly Sounds like a good idea, I'm sure it'd have enough members. The administration overhead however requires a calling

@ngatts, there must be organizations out there who can willing to fund SACCOs and MFIs. I think Grofin does so. Anyone on wazua with info?

I did find one that I found suited me. It's called Maisha Bora [http://www.maishaborasacco.com/]. I have a workmate who's a member. just been lazy to take the forms :)

@msotoville Didn't go to ask them about their requirements , I read through their requirements and didn't meet any.

I had a talk with @consultant and the sacco he advocated for is also good [Kilele]. Looks solid. Would have joined that one but the Maisha Bora rates are lower.
