What are the pro's and con's of various roofing options for bungalow house with a plinth area of about 150sq-meters? - In terms of cost, durability, rain-water harvesting, etc

1. Versatile - those mabatis with pattern similar to tiles

2. Tiles - am told there are clay/cement and some not suitable for tapping rain water?

3. Dumu resincot - those with square troughs

4. Decra - those zinc sheets with a rough coating and tile-like patterns.

Any other suitable options out there?

1. Grass......Yes...Grass.
2. cedar tree dry bark (Magoko)....Wendz is laughing...bure kabisa!!
3. Shingles (Red Cedar Mutarakwa) or Pondo)......ever been to Thomson's falls??.That shingles roof was done in 1940s by Mr. Otsuong'o (RIP).It is still as good.
Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm.

4. Asphalt/Bitumen for a flat roof - You can use the roof to dry maize etc
5. Bitumenous shingles (Damn expensive)
6. Pure Aluminium sheets - Locally available. Heat resistant and light weight
