Anyone who knows where i can get them locally??.I am looking for roughly 1200 square metres.What i am not sure is if this can be found as one piece.

Ngai Mwathani....Yaani this is Greek?smile .....This is polythrene/Fabric materials used to line fish ponds or small dams.They can also be used to line water reservoirs.Helps to stop water seeping into the ground while keeping stuff like Algae away.....A cost effective way of preserving rain water.

Try the construction materials suppliers e.g. Alibhai Shaliff et al. I am not sure you can get the whole metreage whole but my bet is that you may have to buy a long strip from a roll and then cut and overlap at site. Just to ask, what do you need it for?
Just like in F1, it's all in the telemetry

Thanks....I'll check out with Alibhai.As indicated,i wish to line a rain water harvesting dam with the intention of going into contrarian veg farming (Carrots/Turnips/beetrots).

@njunge did u get the liners. if not try 0722607359. purchased some pondliners from the guy sometimes back. dont come in one piece but he joins them 4 u. wonder whether he still supplies.

Try asking the big landsape companies in town for the damliners. You might get some long continous rubber/bituminous sheets.
