Several options available:

Full Overview---Scroll down to the bottom and you'll see Active Discussions
---Top left, gray latest discussions is also active discussions from the community
* On home page Top Threads - Selected posts are shown. Select All Posts to see latest updates
* On each community home page, what is shown in each section are the latest posts
---Click on the heading of any of the sections to see all section posts in another format
---Click on the word [FORUM] on the Connect box at the top of each community page to see the forum posts for that community
* When inside the forum, latest discussions [top left] shows the latest discussions for each section
