The other day I bought bread and on reading the ingredients I noticed that one of the preservatives was calcium propoinate.In other brands they say 'permitted preservatives'.
Now,my questions is how can we know the long term effects of this preservatives?
Why put preservatives for perishable products which are supposed to be consumed in a day or two.
Sometime back one consumer watch dog in the US blacklisted some preservatives which were found harmful.Do we have the same here in Kenya?
