i read an article(noise pollution) on kenya health site where by they say noise such as matatu noise is dangerous. no wonder we keep leaning closer to people mouths because we are losing our hearing. its on www.healthoutsource.co.kemkenya

Very true......Same applies to those Jua Kali welders you have seen out there doing arc-welding with sun glasses.You can only become deaf or blind.The most unfortunate thing about it is that it's gradual and totally irreversible. Old man about town.... Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm.

maybe we should wear ear plugs when we enter a matatu. at the rate we are going we may be wearing hearing aids by 45. this site has some interesting articles. they also have one on asbestos which we inhale on a daily basis.
