KACC advisory Board nominates lawyer PLO Lumumba to replace Ringera as anti-graft body boss and Pravin Bowry and Jane Onsongo as his assistants....



Bowry was representing someone in Goldenberg commission...............is this the right guy for that position...........they should have just nominated bro. Paul Pattin

Considering the way he acted in Bomas I think its a bad nomination.

Why do we keep recycling the same people from one post to another? Kenya cannot come up with fresh people for the Commisions?

The Anti Corruption and Economics Crimes Act needs serious amendments to give KACC more teeth. Without empowering the Commission,a good director (what we hope Lumumba is) will not cut it.

i stand to be corrected but kacc advisory board will present the three names to president kibaki,who will then make his own decision on who to appoint as the director from the 3 names given. ama? wapi ma-lawyers?

That is not the case. The names will be presented to parliament for approval or rejection. The president will only issue the formal appointment as advised by the national assembly.
