Kenyans are strong. Coming from worse to worse and we still move on. i.e. from post election violence.. to ..grand collission.... to.. MUNGIKI... to... Isiolo shifters....to.....fire catastrophies/Nakumatt/sachangwan/Lamu... to...power crisis....to... water crisis... to ....hunger crisis ....to .... MAU Crisis.. to..ringera crisis..... to.... hungry politicians.... to.... sugar crisis.... to.... road accident crisis....... to.. HARAMBEE STARS failure.....and now about to enter to flood crisis... and we can afford a smile!!!

isnt it what we call success? i.e. moving from worse to worse without losing entusiasm!

the problem with kenya is poor and failed leadership from the top to the bottom. talk about maize and oil scam and the barons know they can't go to jail. the leadership is so detached from reality as if they live in a different planet. i really think good old baba jimmy cares less about his already tarnished legacy which will be forever defined by stolen elections, anglo fleecing and extra-judicial killings. true, some great work has been done on free education, cdf and road works. but the reality is bad publicity travel faster. if obama can personally give press briefings once in a while, why is kibz too busy to do likewise? i voted pnu/kibaki but i don't understand why he packs all the important/sensitive dockets with fellow tribesmen from gema. picture this, kra, internal sec, central bank, state hse, chief justice,trade,nsis...etc. the fact is our leaders are visionless and uninspiring and that includes raila and co. what kenya needs is someone who will make us all proud to be kenyans even in times of crises. someone who will force the tax dodging mps pay their keep and slash their mind boggling salaries. someone who will genuinely bust the graft kings and ethnic warlords and send them to kamiti in shackles with speed. am sorry i can't see anyone who qualifies that from the current bunch of self important hypoctites. i won't be suprised if kenyans go tongs and hammer come 2012 and this country will cease to exist as you have known it. the madness we witnessed in 2007/8 will be like a walk in the park when 2012 armageddon finally comes. those in comfort zones financially can dismiss me as an alarmist but the fact is we already have a silent class war in kenya. the wealth gap is growing bigger, criminal gangs are piling their arms with impunity and the top leadership is just busy doing what they do best- being rich while riding on our backs while inciting various communities against one another. ole wenu!
