all this waking up early is driving life out of me. I hate it. I just want to be back in my cozy bed, sound asleep without a care in th world...... Too bad we dont always get what we want

wangu.n:

I can assure that I know you are not doing what you like. I mean you dont love your job. You work to survive, otherwise, you would be growing impatient for the morning so that you can wake up. That being said,we all have our days.

I feel sorry for you. You will certainly die a poor man if this vice continues......

Sleep is sweet but don't allow yourself to be lazy. Nothing good in life comes easy. I would advice you to sacrifice your sleep and work hard now if you want such luxary tomorrow. Remeber you cannot sleep on an empty stomach. Eary to bed and early yo rise makes someone healthy, and wealthy and wise.

i know all about that. a little sleep a little slumber and poverty comes knockin....... Thats why i still wake up,despite hating it but after i take a shower (or bucket bath given the prevailing water crisis) im good to go. gettin out of bed, thats the problem......

It's good waking up early when you are young. My high school head teacher said 'a young man who sleeps when he is young will not sleep when he grows up' no offence

A likely impossibility is always preferable to an unconvincing posibility.

Early to bed early to rise.you should be asleep by nine...sleep is the only luxury the rich cant afford.remember the average man requires nine hours of sleep for the body to be completely rejuvenated.

@ wangu

you are not alone....

i know it is a vice (may be worse than alcoholism) but i can't help myself...

i have tried to sleep early but usingizi ya asubuhi is such a luxury.... can exchange anything for it!

you've heard me..

I love waking up early! Imagine waking up at 11 a.m. and people have already done 6 hours' worth of work. Na wewe ulikuwa umelala tu! In the words of baba Jimmy ..... bure tuu!

I never seem to get going if I wake up after 7 am. By 7 am,I'm always in the office.

i was employed for 5 good years before i took that decisive step to be my own boss instead of slaving it out for ungrateful lot. the gamble paid off. i don't have to stick to a monotonous fixed routine. for me it's never about the money but FREEDOM! take the decisive step when the right time comes.........

'Progress isn't made by early risers,it is made by lazy men trying to find easier ways to do something'

Mornings suck! I hate them too.... I dont understand the fascination with 6-9am. I can start at,say 10am and finish at 8pm or later... With the same rate of efficacy,if not higher than those sleep working in the cocks!

@Guka: LOL! I think you've already started sniffing gizzard's kiraiku!

@kenyanbeef: True people have different routines and different 'active phases'. Mine comes between 7 am and 3pm. After 3 pm,I dont' seem capable of doing anything constructive (of course unless I have to). When you are working late at 8 - 9 pm, some of us are relaxing after a hard days work.
