It seems the wave of kidnappings is only spiralling higher and what's worse is that instead of targeting rich families,the goons seem to be going for average- poor even people in Eastland. Life in Nairobi is slowly becoming a daily scare.

There is a chilling story on page 2 of todays Nation of a kidnapping in Kayole. Although I could be wrong,from the story,it doesn't appear as if the seizure was planned- more like an afterthought after the thugs had robbed the boy's dad
