Has anyone tried the new CBK Dhow system? It is a real pain. A lot more complicated to bid/rollover than the previous TMD system. Plus, I am struggling to get any answers on how to pay for my latest successful bid for the reopened 2 year bond. The guy on the CBK customer care phone said that I wi;; need to go to my bank to do this.???????

Was hoping that this part was automated to enable CBK debit the bank account directly. But, nopes. We are not there yet.

With Standard Chartered, i was able to send an RTGS to my CBK account, after which the funds were moved from my account to the portfolio account.

How did you determine amount of funds to transfer before auction results. CBK CDS is under your Dhow or the former USSD? HF 30,000 ABP 3.49; KQ 414,100 ABP 7.92; MTN 23,800 ABP 6.45

Rollovers using the USSD code was alot more straight forward than in the current dispensation. I thought any new technology ought to be an upgrade or a supplement to an existing system.

What do you mean by your CBK account and your portfolio account? I thought the virtual accounts were phased out and they now only have the CSD accounts.

The portal has no telephone number for support; no email address; no chat room! So I called CBK main line and was give another number to call - switchboard cannot transfer you to the DHOW office. Then was told that my concerns would be " escalated to the IT team" Several days later, I try again and still can't get in!

Filling all the details and clicking next but nothing happens. I called their Customer Care and was given the following solutions: 1. I had only unsuccessfully tried for 10 or so minutes. That was too short and I should continue trying... 2. Maybe I didn't have internet. I should make sure I have internet then try again.. 3. Maybe the System had already picked my Email. I should close all sessions and I should instead try the Forgot Password Route... 4. I should try their Android Application. Maybe that one will work..

Apparently if you start the Sign-up Process and Stop Midway this can be problematic and requires manual intervention by the ICT Team.
