Yes they are eligible. That's a +20% return on investment for 2 month period.

Can't figure out what the reit holders selling are thinking.d'oh!

From my reading of the initial announcement, those who own more than 450,000 units (KES 5mn) will not be eligible for the 11/- offer.

Assume you own 2mn. You are better off selling 1.55mn at 9 (+50% from 6/-) and then sell the rest at 11/-.

If you are stuck with the 2mn... you will be forced to move to the USP and might not even see 6/-

A Non-Professional Investor is a person including a company, partnership, association or a trustee on behalf
of a trust who, either alone, or with any associates on a joint account, does not meet the Professional Investor
threshold of holding units worth at least KSH 5 million as defined in the Capital Markets (Real Estate Investment
Trust) (Collective Investment Schemes) Regulations, 2013 <b>as at the Record Date.</b>

You will be bundled up in nominee accounts under ILAM and still receive your distributions. I would think you will be able to sell your units under the nominee account. Let's wait for the details on offer from 6th September
