This is quite true and much of that change these days comes from America, which makes sense. For instance despite paying lip service to the cannon of 'free markets' America remains one of the most regulated economies anywhere, thanks to Government policies, mostly crafted after economic crises.
Similarly you can expect if Bernie Sanders or Elizabeth Warren win the election next year another massive round of capitalism reform, akin to the Scadinavian model, will follow. Socialism may even cease to be a dirty word in America. Single payer health care already did and very quickly.
