Let's see if KenGen and/or KPLC will release unaudited 1H20 results.
Others that might end up in the same boat includes Kenya Re and EAPCC.

Half Year KPLC should be out this week or Next week....same for KenGen

Last week passed, this week coming two days remaining.
KaunganaDoDo what's the latest?

There should be delay due to the Force Majeure of HE Moi's death...but Not later than 26th..

http://wazua.co.ke/forum...91&f=1&q=889773
15th + 1 day for the unneeded holiday + Sunday = 17th
How does the 26th come into play?

BUT we can wait for the 26th Feb, then 26th Mar, then 26th April Laughing out loudly

Kenya Re usually reports FY numbers by end of March. This might end up being a long wait for the results and dividend!

It makes sense to change the law to have the incumbent hang in there, if s/he wants to, until the new one is chosen and has taken over.

Or have the successor chosen and ready to go as soon as the term of the incumbent expires.

Actually KenGen were doing their H1 reporting last week, with Kplc scheduled for this week...CMA has told them to wait at the last moment...there's scheduled for a Status Meeting with the National Treasury on way forward Monday 17th, after which it will be decided whether to publish H1 or Publish FY or wait both...its murky waters this Auditor General Absence

CMA has agreed for publication of FY and H1 Financials....sasa watu watafute Tissue Paper, sasa wengine watasaga meno na wengine watacheka na Nyavu

Are we crying again in KENGEN?

Nobody wants to invest Equity in the long term infrastructure projects. Investors want debt.

State-owned electricity producer Kenya Electricity Generating Company (KenGen) #ticker:KEGN has extended the search for a joint venture (JV) partner for a geothermal plant until Friday as it looks to raise its stock of green energy.

If it is cash-rich and has the ability to take on debt, why does it need a partner which will own & control 75% of the SPV?

Remember mobitelea in safaricom.
The partner has to be politically correct and connected and give a stake to the partners.

Lol CMA might again stop release at the last moment. These guys know how to play Kengen. Meanwhile, Madame Rebecca is on a roll with bagging more African business.

No Chance for Further delays. Unless there's a coup de etat
