Too close to call. Chamisa is a breath of fresh air but you can never trust a crocodile! Truth forever on the scaffold Wrong forever on the throne (James Russell Rowell)

Muganbe has voted for MDC. Says Zanu PF is dead. Wish Tsvangirai was alive today. Would have been the biggest handshake ever.

Lets wait for the fat woman to dance. As Mobutu once quipped, its not the people who vote that counts, but the people who count the votes. Very likely that no one will get the required 50% for an outright win and a runoff will have to be held. If the army does not interfere it is very likely that Chamisa will win. Mugabe's backing cannot be underestimated. Mnangagwa is a schemer and is powerful but he is neither charming nor popular. People fear him. He was counting on Shona support for Zanu PF but Mugabe endorsement of Chamisa undermines that solid block. If elections are free and fair it is the soft skills that win votes. Akicheza he will not only lose but might end up in jail.

He also said the results showed that the movement was ready to form the next government.
