Been ignoring the KCB and BFIU shenanigans plus blogger rhetoric...but there is increasing smoke.

Last week there was the issue of the detained officials at Central Police. After being taken to court, they were released on a flimsy Ksh. 5,000 cashbail.

Then today we have a presser from lobby groups that released the CEO Oigara’s bank statements to the public >>

This appears to be cheap craving for attention. And some of these bloggers are guns for hire. The facts cannot be authenticated.

How does Oigara allow such a leak.Oigara stop this madness. His account should have limited access. If this can happen to the CEO then what of the ordinary customers.

Time to buy kcb was yesterday.

And that might actually be literally.

I am also planning to buy KCB for my kids. Will be doing that later this month or January. I have a feeling I can get them at 35-36 and coz I am buying many, the 3/= difference from current price is huge!!
Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.

Because banks are headed for zero growth this year and next

The new IFRS9 accounting standards provided a window in 2018 that created an anomaly in bank profits for 2018 as some banks used capital reserves to clean up bad books, including cleaning up some credit losses earmarked for 2018.

That amendment is going nowhere, Moses kuria is a rational guy but he has burnt the political capital to push it through. Just forget about it. River road economics takes precedence for now.

Time to start buying. For me that is. Not advising anyone to buy or not. Mine is loooong term. Not afraid of hiccups so long as fundamentals are good!

There are no permanent friends or enemies in politics. Just interests.

THE family is in banking big time. Wait until the day the mum will wake up and demand that something must be done. And we are talking about an African mum!
