I support the city of Jerusalem under the overseership of the state of Israel.

That the world has come to such a point is a great thing.

Now what we need is a settlement on Gaza and Palestine.

Right now Jerusalem isn't an icon of peace and legitimacy. And the only way Jerusalem can be a true icon is by liberating the people of Gaza and Palestine and indeed the rest of the world.

Maybe some of us don't know that even our country couldn't be there had there be no Jewish crisis.

Since Constantine, the history of the world has been the history of the Jews, and by extension, the children of Israel.

It's a tough history to discern, but I suspect even @Much Know will agree that even this 'hand shake' could not have happened sans the Israelis. Let alone our founding President being Jommo.

You see the suffering in Gaza? It's the suffering of all the people.

For Israel to be a state, so much has been done. For Israel to continue being a state so much needs to be done. But in what direction?

When Netanyahu says 'this is just the beginning' then you can imagine in what direction we may be headed.

Right now, if you aren't a member of the elite in Kenya, ole wako. And the suicides in Gaza translate to suicides even here in Kenya.

So if things go a notch higher in such a direction, where will we run to?

And will Jerusalem still be Jerusalem?

I beg you oh Uhuru, our president, please think about us masufferor! Speak for us too, when you meet your friends.

Did we have to lose so many people.
Avoidable deaths if you ask me.
Just as absolute power corrupts leaders, so does absolute fanaticism blind the people from logic

@Alph, to me, Islam was about continuing the Jewish quest for returning to Jerusalem after the collapse of the Roman Empire.

Even now, Islam is being used to further this cause. ISIS was created for this effect for example.

So was Christianity a similar tool. For example, why were Pauline epistles given the weight they have?

The American evangelicals were supported by the Jews in their fight for independence and have since then depended on the Jews for their survival.

Is it possible, starting with us, to reconsider the foundations of our beliefs and world views to find better solutions to the issues we are facing?

It's the momentum of history. Our hands are so bloody. Brother has turned against brother.

I think that if this course goes unabated then the keepers of Jerusalem shall lose their objective.

Even if all bow in fear without conviction and truth. This course must change!
