A fool and his or her money shall soon be parted https://www.businessdail...34386-ysf9hs/index.html
Cytonn will probably hire a few shills to praise Cytonn, its projects, etc... What you are implying is that if one puts their cash in a firm in the GEMS segment, they will soon loose it?

Forgive my ignorance..if a firm joins the NSE via GEMS ,is there a leeway to "upgrade" to a "better" segment later or they will be stuck with GEMS?(choices have consequences)... whiteowl wrote:

Has any GEMS firm done well for the investors? Even the profitable FTGH, with a real business, has seen its shares reduce by 50% from the original listing price. After a long time of studying their mode of operation and how they are able to offer the 18% annualized returns i have invested in Cytonn. History will not remember you for your IQ. It will remember you for what you did. “Genius is 1 percent inspiration, 99 percent perspiration.” Thomas Edison

Generalization is dangerous! It’s like saying since Chase, Imperial, NBK have issues all banks are bad....really?! In this case they are all in different industries too 😁😁 your insinuations that GEMS listed are bound to fail is just absurd. GEMS have just been unlucky but things are bound to change soon. Investing is not to be done emotionally, it’s to be done rationally. I for one am very happy with this company, bought my shares at 10/- when they had their private placement currently trading at 60/- I have sold and recuperated my initial investment which was minuscule of what has remained in the stock. VVS, has any of your investments gained this much? Glad to see u and Obiero, arch enemies work together on this one. 🤣🤣 I have been taken on time and again since this firm came into existence, people have called this a pyramid and yet, everyone I know did they proper research and have reaped good money. Obiero this is disappointing, I thought you were a contrarian investor and not a sheep investor. Fanya research and make money.

Better late than never. Buy these shares before they list and you regret not buying them pre-listing. I regreted not buying equity before they listed and I had the opportunity to. I didn’t buy because of what people said. I remember there was a thread on stockskenya (former wazua) that a few guys really discouraged people from buying the stock. I regret not buying those share to this day.

Having made money and exited on time is good for you, but please do not compare Equity to Cytonn for Christ sake! The two are uniquely different and the corporate games Cytonn are engaged in are high risk ones.. If they are as prosperous as they claim, why do they need to list? Fact is that they have run short of cash to fund their lofty ambitions which is never good for any business HF 30,000 ABP 3.49; KQ 414,100 ABP 7.92; MTN 23,800 ABP 6.45
