It's walking the talk. Covid 19 regulations say all meetings should not exceed 15 mins.

Quote:
Suna East MP Junet Mohammed has vowed to be more loyal to ODM Party leader Raila Odinga to avoid being ousted like Garissa MP Aden Duale.

Junet was speaking in parliament on Tuesday after Duale read his exit speech as the majority leader in parliament.

Duale who has served in the position for seven years was replaced by Kipipiri MP Amos Kimunya.

"As for Duale, when you see us following Baba like cows, it is because we fear the consequences like what you are facing today," he said.

"So politics is like that mkubwa. If you go against the wishes of people who own parties and lead this country,..these are the consequences."

Junet said whatever happened to Duale is a learning experience for him.

"... it is a good experience for me. Now I will be more loyal than I am now. I will sing baba throughout," he said.

Govt/NMS has drilled 93 boreholes in nairobi slums in past 3 months. All slums now have free clean water.

Water is basic human need. This project is very useful, it will drastically reduce diseases and restore human dignity to all the beneficially as well as saving that much needed extra coin to the residents.

Better still, I hear it did not cost Billions of dollars !.

This was Sonkos project. Do you think the mapping and testing was done in one day? Come on use your brain cells.

What i know about Sonko and water is the water tankers under Sonko Rescue team. smile

Maybe the mapping and testing was even done during Mayor Margeret Wambui Kenyatta's time!

Governor Mike Sonko's administration has defied a national government order that bars the drilling of boreholes in Nairobi.

Junior officers at City hall told the Star that the county's top hierarchy had not given them any directive to stop the drilling.

"We have been allowing people to drill but we can't comment on the story since the county executive committee member and top officers in charge of water, who are allowed to comment, are outside the country,” theofficers told the Star.

The governor also failed to respond to our calls.

City residents, environmentalists, and the business community believe that Water CS Simon Chelugui's directive to stop the drilling of water in Nairobi was a positive development to protect the aquifer and other businesses in Nairobi.

This is/was drilling by private individuals in private premises that they eventually sold to local residents. Leta planning of drilling ya County 47 under Sonko.

Ati no slums in 1976?! There were slums even in 1960s.
One of the challenges of Jomo's government was to evict people from Gikomba and Kaburini(Eastleigh) slums in late 1960s!
