Uhuru Will Win with < Less Than 36% Voter Turn Out..?

It's a bit worrying ,as the country have had to be subjected to divisive politics and polls. The challenge is how will Kenya move on with such a voter turn out. Verdict is out there, Kenya is divided and regardless if you are JP or Nasa supporter ,something is a miss in our country and there is need for new path of Kenya we want as citizens not the Kenya politicians want. Again...the final % turn out quite telling.....I believe lots of reflection....needed. Live your life well, don't settle nor conform to people expectations. It's one of the best way to live life full of bliss and contentment.

0 is a number...and is legal turnout HOWEVER what it means going forward is for political players to deduce their meaning. All Mushrooms are edible! Some Mushroom are only edible ONCE!

Based on what? Eventually turnout will pass 50% by tomorrow when others vote, if the violent goons and thieves allow voting, naswa is to blame for poor turnout, Uhurus victory is clear and will surpass the last time and eat into rairas 7.2 million votes which Uhuru is almost getting, if he gets 10million, with a poorer turnout, we can assume only luos are left supporting raira, given the tribal nature of our politics, tribal diehards should really now be ready to MOVE ON!Meanwhile as Uhuru is the clear winner as par THE LAW, he should be sworn in, move on, he has said he will talk with raira to resolve any issues. A New Kenya

@ harrydre i don't disagree with you on % turnout ,but i believe any turnout of any election especially where numbers matter and more so where one strong competitor said he is withdrawing ,this % turn out matters any how you look at it. Kindly this will come to bare in coming days... So just reckon any numbers matter ...in politics. Live your life well, don't settle nor conform to people expectations. It's one of the best way to live life full of bliss and contentment.

We are miss reading it. All repeat elections everywhere experience low voter turn out. Uhuru did not have an opponent so thus was a formality, all he needed was 50+1 and 25% in 24 counties, right? If you want the real vote then count the Aug 8th votes. Also don't forget that he will enjoy full powers of presidency similar 100% turn out with a mega majority in both houses.
BBI will solve it :)

@MurchKnow definately Uhuru will win this election,that's clear. The problem is that some JP leaning press/politicians/agents/activists etc are not yet appreciating how under performed the JP party has done. Earlier they had said they will prove that they will win with 10 Million plus. The bottom line is that they can't even reach the 8/8 numbers. Now, Being a Kenyan am worried JP supporters still don't understand and appreciate why the rain started beating them....atleast +40% could have been fair to us,to have a "legitimate" government with overwhelming support. Now the poor performance will lead to lots of challenges for the JP and Uhuru presidency...just await the declaration from Chebukati and "shit" will start happening. Much Know wrote:Based on what? Again...the final % turn out quite telling.....I believe lots of reflection....needed. During the 8/8 elections UK got 41% of the total registered voters and 54% of votes cast. This time round there is a 5% reduction on his votes viz-vis the registered voters but a sharp rise to over 90% of votes cast. The 5% reduction(or even less once all votes have been counted)is because of Goon Konys threats, apathy and bad weather(it rained heavily in most parts ofcthe country).So really things are not what you are trying to make them look.41% and 36% haziwachana na mbali. Uhuru won by 99% Uhuru could not convince 70% to like him Raila won by 67% Kumera kumera, I shall not vote Kenyans are about to realise that numbers don't matter. God doesn't have a quota of dead Kenyans he can accept in a day. Kenya is divided in half. It is not enough to say Uhuru got 87% of the votes in Tetu Constituency while he only got 0 votes in Ukambani. If Uhuru stops listening to his current advisers, then numbers will matter. As it stands, the current advisers have advised him it's ok to shoot some fellas in Bungoma, more on Saturday, one or two jaruos really don't matter etc. It's for the good of the country. There shall be no need for numbers on the path we are going. Thieves are not good people. Tumeelewana?

Nonsense alma. Most people were intimidated to not vote. Infact the international media is reporting that those who showed up to vote in the NRM strongholds did so while covering themselves from the view of others. You lost The next time I heard bravado was about Kumira Kumira, happy birthday, 70+1, free matatus and wembe ni ule ule. Turns out 70% of Kenyans don't give a hoot about muthamaki when its raining, when raila is not there, if its a by election or whatever excuse you shall cook up. They just don't care about Muthamaki.
