How do you leave the country at the height of your election campaign? Is baba finally throwing in the towel? Is he going to withdraw from the elections before leaving or is he planning to come back as a 'king'? BBI will solve it :)

His main aim is to seek to sweet talk / sway international community to his side as he prepares for the next phase of the battle....if the Oct 26th election result in a crisis (that's what he wants), he believes these are the people to help force uhuruto to get onto the negotiating table so they can the share govt. xxxxxxxx By the way what happens if naswa doesn't provide agents on election day?

This is not any ordinary tour abroad for Raila. I understand he is unwell and has been advised to take a bedrest in the UK by his doctor for a whole month. The question now is what happens to the election which is just three weeks away?

From my streets, they are saying he is going to give a key note address on Democracy in some University.......famed for advicing the UK government. His recent outburst and seeing enemies all around him is a clear indicator of illness.Let him have that bedrest. And the TV should only screen NatGeo for him.No politics. Meanwhile how come nobody has refuted the story of forged documents at the Supreme Court?Neither Maraga or NASWA have said anything about the matter. This Raila guy is evil. Why did they go the supreme court get a verdict whilst he do not want an election now? Why can't they accept they lost fair and square? Why does he think he can get into power without a majority vote?
He has made so many enemies and it's going to be so hard for him to survive.
The guy had a chance to be a statesman, but his greed and useless ambition cannot let him.
Can you imagine he tells women to strip naked and expose their !!@$##%$%$%!! . Shetani!
Can you imagine his followers looted Tumaini supermarket in Kisumu and he can't even reprimand them or say anything? Can you imagine his few followers looted KIWASCO water pipes ?
This Raila guy is evil

It is shuttle diplomacy reloaded. Having realised the demos arent working, his only hope is international community. So he will give seemingly good speeaches, meet a few contacts, and hope they can pressurise uhuru to accept to share govt.

I think giving a speech which is put together by some speechwriter is in my opinion useless. What should be done is put him in front of international media media to field some questions, he shall be deconstructed and comeback a shell. I am happy

Baba is not coming back soon. He has run away to prevent a thorough beating on 26/10.

Quote:What is clear is that the advantage of incumbency in fact accelerates in this round two of the election. Therefore, I expect the opposition to boycott the election entirely. And that the strategy of tension will be maintained via degrading and denigrating the entire process. Market participants need to model this scenario because this is the direction of travel.

Copy Paste: At this event, Rt Hon Raila Odinga will discuss the Supreme Court ruling annulling the 8 August election, the reforms he and the NASA opposition coalition would like to see ahead of the 26 October election, and how the next government can drive forward institutional reforms to strengthen Kenya’s democracy. How will he achieve that when he is not even campaigning?? When I have money, I get rid of it quickly, lest it find a way into my heart.

C&P Raila dismissed claims he is plotting to boycott the election by flying out of the country. He said information being shared on social media is propaganda being propelled by Jubilee. "This is just speculation...there is no cause for alarm. I have been invited to give lectures in the US, New York and London but I have only accepted to give a lecture at Chatham House this Friday. That is a one-day trip." Raila added Kenya is a democratic society with freedom of choice. "Participating in an election is a democratic right...nobody can force me to participate," he said. "If I choose not to participate in a pre-rigged process, that is my choice. Not even the court cannot compel me to remain in the race." The NASA principal noted NASA stands by its word that it will not participate in the poll if IEBC does not ensure a conducive environment. Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm.
