Hello Wazuans, what's the agreed best (cheap and decent service) for shipping a package from UK to Kenya?
Note it is a pair of shoes and it costs less than 100 pounds.
I have gone through some threads on wazua but most of them are more than 3 yrs old.
Thanks
Chaka

There's also www.box.co.ke. Haven't used them but they have a very easy setup.

There is a Somarlian shipping company we use in East London my wife has been using them for many years and I believe they cost £2.50 per kilo cleared into Nairobi via air.

That price would be the best news ever. What about handling charges?

HI

Sorry about the late reply, Indeed there is clearance as well. I'm just making a purchase for an apartment. I was thinking of purchasing my main household furniture in the UK then sending. However I have since changed my mind due to the cost save a few things, which are expensive in Kenya.

My wife is always sending things to Nairobi as she has a shop in town.

Pm me and I'l give you the details.

They ship via air as well as Mombasa via containers. I believe they have an office in Eastleigh.

HI,

Just to clarify this company prices have risen steeply in the last 6 months or so.

Sent a 50 inch TV a few years ago £100 and now want double. Only good thing is it's by air.

£2.50 kilo gone up to £4.75. shocking!!

£2.25 by sea that takes 2 months.

Must be brexit!!
