GFF this RAO will one day kill me with his mathematics, 800M is enough for the forthcoming presidential polls http://www.nation.co.ke/...648-ns4we2z/index.html, from my class 3 son if you have 40886 polling station each with 2 polling clerks and a PO with an average of 3 working days and an average pay of 3k each that makes 9k per polling station that alone would turn to around 1.2B kshs.I think he has got to too much politics

Now, that is staff payments only.

Adding another printing of 20 million ballots @ 20.00 per ballot which is 400 million.

Adding another ballots distribution to all polling stations at an average of 10k on the lower side which is 409 million.

The two adds up to 809 million which are the only items that baba considered forgetting there are other things requiring expenditures.

Enyewe, that's a lot of money. The math just confuses me. I can't even imagine such stuff.

But what about the woman who catwalked out of a bank with gunias. Ama yeye, tusahau tu?

Some of these arguments are pedestrian. Even the devil is wondering....Really? This people can believe this shit?

French IT firm OT-Morpho has started re-configuring 40,883 KIEMS kits after sealing an additional Sh2.4 billion deal with the IEBC.

The fresh agreement with the firm, which is at the centre of the Kenyan repeat election storm, was agreed on last Thursday night, after days of talks between the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission and the Paris-based company.

The conclusion of talks and the formal signing of the contract paved the way for the firm to kick off the realignment of the election kits for the October 26 repeat presidential election.

The IEBC yesterday confirmed that the electoral body had entered into another agreement with OT-Morpho, ahead of Election Day.

The Star has established that the French digital firm has hired hundreds of IT technicians who are updating the integrated kits to be deployed, signaling the company's readiness to provide its disputed technology for the repeat polls.

The temporary staff working in shifts around-the-clock to beat strict timeliness are based at a secret location in Syokimau, Machakos county.

The reconfiguration of the kits is critical for the elections authority planning the fresh presidential poll and entails safe retrieval of data used in last month’s elections for safe custody by the commission.

The technicians then upload new particulars of the two presidential candidates Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga into the results transmission portal for every kit.

Of course there must be extra. If this is mentioned to NASA, they will say the extra is for rigging just like the extra ballot papers.

Wetangula doesn't care since he's a veteran on the list. Mdvd is a spent force. Kalooser on the other hand is a wannabe diplomat. He has everything to lose.

BBI will solve it

Angry youths held Siaya MCAs hostage for 30 minutes on Tuesday for rejecting nine candidates nominated for county executive posts.

They were unhappy with the ward representatives for rejecting the CECs selected for Governor Cornel Rasanga's cabinet.

When the County Assembly adjourned at 8pm, youths vowed not to let MCAs out until they passed the names of rejected candidates.

The sergeant-at-arms was forced to shoot in the air to disperse the youths who hurled stones at the Assembly premises and broke windows.

The Assembly was set to debate the nominees at 2pm but this was delayed as youths chanted "We are watching you" outside the premises.

Electoral agency CEO Ezra Chiloba has suggested that the Supreme Court majority who nullified the August 8 presidential election relied on forged documents.

The CEO told special investigators on Tuesday the documents used by the judges were "a sharp contrast" to the documents the IEBC had presented to them.
