What would be the implications of such a pronouncement by the President in the NSE and country as a whole?

What are the chances of this happening? Methinks it would bring a lot of stability to the market and the country.

I doubt if the current economic situation is fully as a result of political wavelength. The NSE may be a failure as per some of us,but look at the bond market. In terms of infrastructure

A likely impossibility is always preferable to an unconvincing posibility.

stability? with all the different factions in different political parties all with varied vested interests,I doubt it.

All the president needs to do is to respect the NARA accord by practicing 50/50 power sharing and avoiding any action that may be seen to be subverting reforms or promoting impunity. Hiyo tu!
