Selective application-Is Weston Land in the list which formerly belonged to KCAA? What about the land where capital center stands along mombasa Road(between Highway secondary and police housing...I wonder how people acquired some parcels of land which logically should be public land by virtue of their "adjacency" to public institutions .e.g Fortis office block next to KNH, Silver Springs Hotel, Landmark Plaza next to UON Dental School...list goes on Reflection Eternal

This is the important part. The grabbers of the land now to be repossessed were untouchable 10 years ago. Machozz and all the other thieves will not be in power forever, their time is coming. Let banks, corporations and others who deal with these dirty people be on notice. 10 or 20 years from now those dealing in embezzled assets will lose their money.

Very good move.In the long term the 2010 constitution will really benefit this country a lot. No one will be in power forever, but the constitution offices are entrenched in the constitution Africa belongs to Africans.

This is the beginning and even for Weston time will tell.I remember the battles for Karura. Not only just lose the land, I would like to see those giant machines knocking down roofs and walls ...multi-storeyed buildings going down in great puffs of controlled-demolition dust ....and see some people cooling heels in jail.

I think anyone who has bought land ought to get the report by NLC. And anyone who is planning to buy. You never know if your land was illegally acquired by the initial title holder. If Moses Substone Mudavadi's title can be revoked today yet he died in late 1980s, you wonder if his children had subdivided and sold the land who would have known 20 yrs later of such illegality How does a subsequent buyer after a title has changed hands 7 times and been subdivided get compensated?

How does a subsequent buyer after a title has changed hands 7 times and been subdivided get compensated? Its simple and plain. No one is being compensated for stolen land.If anything you pay the government for gaining from stolen land. This calls for buyers caution on matters land. You got to dig dip before buying any land in Kenya otherwise youll be in for a very rude shoke.

Watashangaa. When we moved to south C, you could walk at night and meet some zebra running away from Lions. Now, it's Mosque after Mosque after gated community after another gated community built on loam soil. Yet, they complain of water shortage and flooding. Those houses aren't supposed to be there. The South C sewer line is the same it was in 1973. Watu wa machamba. Trust me, get an honest valuer. The ones who work in banks are all corrupt. Otherwise, you are buying land illegally and Kenya is changing faster than even we can imagine. Thieves are not good people. Tumeelewana?

Na wameanza kuongea Quote: Presidential candidate Joseph Nyagah has denied grabbing two pieces of land in Kanyakwar, Kisumu County
“I bought two little plots of land near the Kisumu International Airport when I was a member of the ODM Pentagon. My intention was to demonstrate that as a nationalist, one could own property in any part of the country.
