What's up? The last leaders I heard taking these nature of extensive medical leave were Buhari and Steve Jobs.

I smell a rat as other rumours start to emerge that it's bye bye Bob out of Safaricom.

BBI will solve it

@elder2012 I leave you with the following to ponder.. Tomblestone was recalled to Vodafone after the Garden City transaction. The integrated security cameras impact on insecurity hasn’t been ascertained. Laptops fiasco. Election meddling claim yet to be verified.. Meanwhile I wish Bob Godspeed

Still a strong company and even with all that’s gone down, MJ & Bob have done a pretty good job

Firms like Safaricom, backed by a strong parent, have deep benches.
When MJ left, BC took over and did a fine job.

I am relatively sure someone strong and competent can be found to run Safcom. I am excited about their data offerings both mobile and fixed offerings as both Airtel and Zuku have floundered.

Interesting times ahead. I wish BC well.

Could this be due to the coming in of Vodacom?
Anyway, it's a great company.

There has been serious migration from Safaricom because of the telco’s involvement in the election mess. Serious than imagined.

Someone to verify this
