How we got there-

Politics became the most lucrative venture in the land the easiest way to "Mali ya umma", tenderprenuering, shady deals.....et al.
To appease as many people to the trough we created even more offices via katiba where all manner of eating tricks apply including allowances for sitting in meetings. Trips with no end......punda jameni. Na bado Chief Minister

Sad thing is even the Muranga public officers who were jailed, accepted paid fines and are free. Probably even got their jobs back.
