With the numerous attempts at ...

expanding our democratic space....

we occasionally discover ...

our innate contempt....

to members of other tribes........

this could be historic....

geographic...

or psychological.....

but the fact will remain.......

we think less of members of other tribes... the best we can do....

is to wait to be proved wrong.....

thus.....

a) a kikuyu.... will sell his grandmother for money...

b) a mukamba thinks of nothing else but sex and poison......

c) a muluhya... is not a mulahya.... they are different tribes lumped as one...

but with the annoying characteristic...

of thieving from us small items,eg spoons etc...

d) a jaluo...... looks at his appearance before other needs...

e) a kisii ... is a born swindler....

f) a mwarabu..... dont bend to tie your shoelace......

g) a muhindi... came with railway... brought rats... jiggers... now steals from us.....

h) a maasai.... is caught in a time warp...... and not all cattle are his.....

i) the kalenjin are not a special tribe of medicinemen...

who think we cannot see what they do...

j) the mutaita.. is born pretty and lazy.....

k) the cushites.....given the chance could be decent citizens.... lakini wako mbali.....

l) the white ..... son of the settler..... we need to get him out.......

et cetera.....

and do not lie... that these goes on every day.......

without civil strive..

that would make kenyans agree to be neighbours....

no occupying power can make us ...

live peacefully.....

it is time we bit the bullet...........

Maybe after we twanga each other, people will heshimiana. You know how on the first day in primo we would duke it out to know who the first body of the class was, that's what will inevitably happen in Kenya. Look through history, civil wars have led to longlasting peace. USA,Rwanda,China,Nigeria and even our Ugandan neighbors.

Either that or we split Kenya into tribal jimbos, problem is that clanism will replace tribalism(Somalia case),so inevitably a civil war will sort out the pecking order and then we will live peacefully everafter.

precisely.....

one can use our inherent weaknesses to do the dirty work for them ...

who brought in the maize.....???

who cleared the maize...???

who transported the maize...???

were all road blocks manned by Kikuyus....from Likoni to Makutano...???

Kenyans' capacity to slaughter is quite evident. But a civil war? For what? About what? So that who ascends or descends to the political leadership! Ati italeta amani- to you? your generation? will you be fighting? will you survive or how many years will you or your grandchildren have spent in Uganda as refugees before you come back like the south sudanese? Nonsense. If you fight, fight for a reason and the only one that can make sense in our time is self-defence.

the tree of liberty needs to be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots....and tyrants. I have said this before,it needs to get bad before it can get better. Sacrifices have to be made before real benefits are reaped.

The problem with equality is that we desire that it be with those that have more than us rather that those that have less

Something I have noticed among guys who shout 'WAR!' the loudest, the closest thing to a real weapon that they have ever seen is a nail-cutter.

But I am not accusing anyone. Alright?

@ TRS,

How about you round up 7 to 10 people who are reasoning like yourself.

See what you have in common.

Report back to us with the findings

ikenya - yes,it was TJ who said that...MY part is that it can only get worse before it gets better - like needing to demolish a building before erecting a new one...or clearing brush in order to start cultivating.

The problem with equality is that we desire that it be with those that have more than us rather that those that have less

@adept,re: the war cries and the weapons we have...you should read one of Aesop's fables, about how during one war that was waged, they captured the guy blowing the war trumpet and he claimed innocence, yet, they asserted,it was the plaintive melody of his instrument that made the soldiers blood boil and give them lust for their enemies blood...and therefore,he did just as much harm as the soldiers did.....so between the pen and the sword is a path of enlightenment - some need to show the rest why they should stand up - one need not wield a sword himself....

The problem with equality is that we desire that it be with those that have more than us rather that those that have less

This tree of Liberty had better start growing, kenyans have been suffering for 50 years. How much blood does it need.

I guess if you can't win with facts, you can always pen bile-laced,xenophobic rants to distract everyone.
