We are a country that imports most of our foods....

foods we consider staple...

eg.....

maize..... rice.... wheat....sugar......

but are self-sufficient in ....

legumes..... barley...... veges.......

in fact veges..... we are quite the exporters......

so..

are we less than clever seeking blue collar jobs.......

so that we can spin elegant second-hand cars from Japan......

and wear matching clothes......

instead of investing in the dirt ..

that maketh the man....???
