Threat of Somalia war on Kenya

It seems Kenya is slowly getting sucked in to the Somalia conflict along with Ethiopia. What is the likelihood of bombings in Nairobi as threatened by Al-Shabaab? What do you think is the best government response to this threat?
If Kenya let's Al Shabaab take over Somali next thing we could be dealing with is their claim on North Eastern Province.
If Kenya acts now it exposes us to terrorist attacks right here in Nairobi.
