Interest expense to go up by about 5-7% on a good % of deposits. Interest income to go down by about 4-10%. It will definitely affect the bottom. But they will still make profits Its the size that will be affected hence share price. Don't expect Equity to go back to the 40s.

Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.

True. Look at Co-op today.

I hope I will not be among the people left behind. Tomorrow I make a decision.

Signs were clear yesterday, many wazuans have no intention of buying anything, however this reverse will depend on the banks Q3 and Q4 we might see a second adjustment if the effect is steep

I calculate a drop in NIM of between 500 and 1B a month for the likes of KCB and Equity.

What do you think that will do to the bottom line?

Q3 will be solid results. Q4 and H1 2017 will be a taste of the new law if old loans are repriced to 14.5%

This will not happen. Old loans cannot be renegotiated arbitrarily. It will be challenged in court
