Maombi....at his age that kind of peeping peeping into another world is not good. He remains the best president Kenya has ever had despite the black spot of 2007/2008 and it is good he hangs around longer to advise Ouru and the next president Madvd or Samoei.

Get well soon Mr President. He has looked fragile for some time and you know what they say about an old man who losses their wives, they really struggle to live on.

While I feel sorry for Kibaki at this time. I cannot help notice that he failed to fix the health system, failed to equip and train personnel. Worse still, turned a blind eye to corruption that has wasted our health care, provided easy money for many to seek healthcare in the private sector or oversees.
There is no feeling as dying in a foreign land, the duress on self and family is unending. It would have been interesting to know what specialist care is in South Africa ... In end times vanity is vanity, everything is useless

That will always vary from person to person. To you he is the best so far. You can read @tajiri's post to get his position.

@Impunity, why do you like starting threads without giving details, especially if it is one not on the positive!! Give details brother.

True , stroke is bad news. My cuzo went down with stroke@ 56 years, about 4 years ago. Recovery is painfully slow, with all the medical services available...Quick recovery mzee.
