Great stuff! Uganda is contributing close to a third of Equity's current profitability. By the time the Ugandans,Rwandese and Sudanese come on board..the Kenyan bank politics will be significantly diluted, they'd have to compete fairly,Machakos someone? Screw SBU,welcome EB! Nice move James Mwangi.

'It has abolished opening balances and minimum operating balances, permitting anyone to open and maintain a bank account without the often resented and onerous conditions like the requirement for an initial deposit.
The bank has also abolished account monthly maintenance fees and ledger fees in its endeavour to encourage people to save.'

Good for Ugandans. Great for EB. And integrates Ugandans into EAC. The Tanzanians are missing the Equity experience.
