Ngai, hope you hadn't asked. Went googling and now am regretting.
About DBK, I don't know much about him but I can swear he grew up in extreme poverty. There is a psychological theory that such people who experienced extreme poverty are so traumatised by it that the memories keep haunting them. As a result, they live all their lives subconsciously running away from poverty. Sadly, they will never know when they have accumulated enough. They need validation every day.
Now for examples, who knows where Raymond matiba lives? Or the sons of Philip ndegwa? Duncan ndegwa? Munyua Waiyaki ? These guys were brought up in extreme opulence. They don't need to validate themselves.
We have two principals in Jubilee. Do I need to say which one can't seem to accumulate enough and why ?
