This law is on it's death bed,buy bank stocks, insiders know that and I think that's why the volumes have been swelling

For the law makers to even consider changing it, they must first be debt free and with little use for any future debts, and this I don't see. The bankers made their worst mistake by allowing this law to become a law, despite the CBK governor informing them what was going on and the consequences that they faced.

This law can't be pegged on current parliament, majority are going home by August,i foresee an amendment in this year's finance bill

Even incoming mps will neither be debt free nor without need for future debt.

No better time to invest in the NSE, especially large cap financials

i hope Q1 brings up the panic for me to buy

Yesterday's combined turnover on financials was in excess of 30m shares.. Smart moves already in play

true and still going on.its very easy to be left out because equity was at 23 and now 28,even if you were buying equity for speculation at 23 you would be ok to sell now

This interest cap law has many facets to it.
- By the time it is lifted, 'Wanjiku'(including wazuans) will have been played and the intended political goal effectively achieved.
- The directly impacted counters in NSE that are currently highly discounted as a result, will rebound by significant percentages.

While you all wait for the rate cap to go, dont forget there is an amendment coming where total cost of credit should not exceed 14%.

And, GoK deposits should only sit in bank with min 20% GoK shareholding.

Wishful thinking.

They don't have much of a choice here both in the short and medium term.
The main purpose of the stock market is to make fools of as many people as possible.

Still at 7.5% monthly.
Time is money, so money is time. Money saved is time gained in reverse! Money stores your life’s energy. You expend your energy, get paid money, and store that money for a future purchase made in a currency.

KCB sent out sms informing customers that your account has been changed to a pay as you go account with no interest.

Equity is more arrogant than Moses Luria: They doubled over the counter transaction charges without communication, they started charging account-account funds transfers and never advise the customers, they will charge you for withdrawing from a foreign currency from your foreign currency account(on top of normal charges) without informing u(they call it cash handling charges). They will charge(on top of normal charges) u for withdrawing from a branch that is not 'yours' again no telling you. Very nauseating.
Guess u only deal with them where u have no other option
